Saint John the Baptist — Wall Icon (Artisanal Decorative Edition)
A striking and contemplative image of Saint John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ and voice crying in the wilderness. Depicted with intensity and stillness, he holds the scroll of his message while gesturing inward—calling the viewer toward repentance, clarity, and spiritual awakening.
In the tradition of the Church, Saint John stands at the threshold between the Old and New Covenants: a figure of preparation, truth, and unwavering witness. His presence in the icon is both direct and uncompromising, yet deeply contemplative—inviting silence, reflection, and a return to what is essential
The original work by Zoran Rnjak was painted in oil on canvas, using a distinctive mosaic-like application of paint.
Reproduced as a giclée print on canvas using archival pigment inks, the image faithfully preserves the richness and texture of the original painting. It is mounted on DiBond for strength and longevity, and set within a contemporary gold frame—offering a refined dialogue between sacred tradition and modern space.
Each piece is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
