The Holy Trinity — Wall Icon

$190.00 CAD

A contemplative icon of the Holy Trinity, inspired by the masterwork of Andrei Rublev and interpreted by iconographer Zoran Rnjak. The image is built through a distinctive mosaic-like paint application—layering small passages of color to create depth, rhythm, and quiet luminosity.

Originally created as oil on canvas and faithfully reproduced as a giclée print on canvas, it preserves the texture and presence of the original surface. Set within a contemporary gold frame, it offers a refined and prayerful focal point for the home.

The Holy Trinity — Wall Icon

A profound and contemplative image of the Holy Trinity, expressed through the timeless visual language of three angelic figures gathered in quiet communion. This composition, rooted in the ancient biblical account of the visitation to Abraham, has long been understood in the Christian tradition as a revelation of divine unity, love, and perfect harmony.

This particular icon is a faithful rendering inspired by the renowned work of Andrei Rublev, whose early 15th-century Trinity is widely regarded as one of the highest achievements of sacred art. Through a refined and balanced composition, Rublev moved beyond narrative detail to reveal the deeper mystery of the Triune God—an eternal relationship marked by peace, humility, and mutual love.

In this image, the gentle inclination of the figures, the circular rhythm of their arrangement, and the quiet exchange of gaze invite the viewer into stillness. It is not merely a scene to be observed, but a presence to enter—an icon that opens a space for prayer, reflection, and participation in divine communion.

This icon painted by Zoran Rnjak through a layered and tactile painting approach, where color is applied in small, deliberate passages to build form, light, and movement. The process allows for accurate and faithful rendition of Rublev’s original that is further honoured through the giclée printing on canvas.  It is mounted onto DiBond for strength and longevity, and set within a contemporary gold frame—offering a quiet dialogue between sacred tradition and modern interior space.

Each piece is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity, affirming its origin and craftsmanship.
