Saint Nicholas — Nursery Icon

Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker — Nursery Icon

A serene icon of Saint Nicholas, revered bishop and wonderworker, known for his humility, compassion, and unwavering obedience to God. With a calm and attentive gaze, he is depicted holding the Gospel—symbol of truth, faithfulness, and a life lived in quiet service.

“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls…” — Hebrews 13:17

Saint Nicholas is remembered not only for his miracles, but for his deep obedience—an interior faith expressed through action, generosity, and steadfast devotion. In both sacred tradition and the imagination of children, he endures as a figure of goodness and protection, one who listens, responds, and gives.

Faithfully reproduced from an original painting by Zoran Rnjak, the icon is giclée printed on canvas and archival mounted on hardwood. Each piece is individually prepared, cut, and finished by the artist, with the logo hand-burned into the wood and sealed with a natural Danish oil finish.

Created for a child’s room, it offers more than decoration—it becomes a steady and grounding presence, reflecting a life shaped by faith, discipline, and love.
